Although there may be some level of mild discomfort, many of our clients say how relatively pain free they found the procedure or that quite simply it was not as bad as they had worked themselves up for. We use prescription strength numbing cream, good quality fine needles, we regularly change needles during the procedure to aid comfort and of course we takes things slowly and book out plenty of time for each patient so that if we need little breaks or to change something during the procedure we can 

Of course, like any procedure there is always some small risk, the risks are calculated and when we select the right patient for the right treatment this dramatically reduces those risks again (for example not carrying out a procedure using a product that a patient is allergic to). This is where you reap the benefits of going to a medical professional who has spent years studying anatomy, safe use of medicines, honing their injecting skills and managing complications and emergencies. I can honestly say that after almost 17 years of consulting patients on their health concerns I feel very adapt to clinically judge which patients are suitable to have which treatments and I will make a decision on a case by case basis every time. During a consultation you will be informed about the risks and benefits of the treatment so you can make an informed decision about whether to go ahead or not

This is quite possibly the number one statement that I hear, and I always respond with the same line that a good aesthetic outcome means that the work is almost undetectable, the procedure should make it look like it has always been part of you (whether that be filler in the cheek, or some smoothing of lines). Our ethos is to rejuvenate and refresh appearances but never to attempt to turn back the clock 20-30 years. Please remember that ghastly over filled faces are fading out, the trend has shifted to a more natural look and a good practitioner will say no or recommend that they don’t see you again for ‘x’ amount of months. Modern premium fillers have come a long way, gone are the days of overfilled pillow faces, the modern technology of fillers allow for a dynamic approach and allow for natural expression this keeps a very modern and refreshed look and avoids the old look of overfilling

We are always open to listening to constructive feedback, this is how we learn. We will do our upmost best to resolve any issues that you may have with your treatment, in the first instance we would encourage you to get in touch with us and come in for a face to face review. We cannot work from photos you send to us from home. Secondly we always ask patients to remember that these are treatments to enhance what you already have, we cannot create a set of lips like your friends because you do not have your friends lips to start with. When considering aesthetic treatments we ask all our patients to be realistic and to manage their expectations - we will also guide you as to what may be a realistic result
